Psychedelic Reggae · Dub · Live-Built

Live dub, built in real time.

A continuous loop station, saxophone, bass, synths and effects, layered live into psychedelic reggae dub style.

Conceived by Vito Lorenzoni.

The project

Intense Pressure is Brazilian saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Vito Lorenzoni's reggae/dub project — connecting Florianópolis roots to a base in Cremona, Italy.

Every beat, timbre and layer is captured and folded in front of the room, so the arrangement grows the way a DJ set breathes — but built entirely by hand, from a saxophone and acoustic instruments up.

Instrumental precision meets the flow of a live DJ set.

The method

How the show is built

1

Tracked live

Beats and timbres are captured on a loop station in the moment.

2

Mixed in real time

Those layers are folded into immersive dub arrangements as the set unfolds, live at the desk.

3

Woven together

Original compositions are threaded with reinterpretations of the genre's masters.
